Reservations

To make reservations fill out an online form, call our toll free # 800-478-1160 from the USA, or 907-554-4411 from outside the USA. After checking for availability we will take your reservation over the phone. If you prefer, you may Fax us at 907-554-4400 or E-mail us at info@WrangellMountainAir.com. Booking your flight as soon as your travel plans are firm, assures you of the best availability for your travel dates and times.

Our "bush" phone system in McCarthy can be unreliable at times. If you call either phone or fax and receive the message that "all circuits are busy" or any other message, please try again. Sometimes you may have to try several times or at another time of day. The most reliable way to contact us is by e-mail, as we have a satellite connection for e-mail. We apologize for any difficulty you have in contacting us. It is just part of living in a remote part of Alaska.

Deposits:

Reservations require a 50% deposit, within 14 days of the day the flight is reserved. Full payment is required when booking one way fares and when bookings are made less than 30 days prior to travel date. Payment can be made by check or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Upon receipt of your deposit a written confirmation will be sent to you with your credit card receipt. The confirmation will also include information about check-in, baggage limits as well as the day, time and departure point of the flight. The balance is due 30 days before the day of your flight. Late payments may result in releasing your reservation. Rebooking will be subject to availability. Reservations made less than 30 days in advance of travel require full payment.

Cancellations

Weather cancellations: All flight cancellations made by Wrangell Mountain Air due to weather will receive a full refund.

Flightseeing cancellations: More than 48 hrs before departure, 10% of total cost; Less than 48 hours, 50% of total cost; no shows, 100% of total deposit.

All other services: Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance of travel result in a 10% cancellation fee of total trip cost, 15 - 29 days, 25% of trip costs; less than 14 days, 50% of total trip cost. No refunds will be issued for a cancellation on the day of the flight.

Wrangell Mountain Air recommend that you purchase travel insurance in case you have to change or cancel you travel plans. In the interest of safety, we reserve the right to change flight schedules and / or destinations at our discretion. We further reserve the right to make changes to prices without notice. Upon advancement of deposit to Wrangell Mountain Air, Inc., the depositor agrees to be bound by all of the above stated terms and conditions.
