Land on a ridge at 5000' with views in all directions. Hiking here is unlimited on the alpine ridges and meadows. See the Wrangell Range to the North and Mt. Logan and St. Elias to the South. Below the braids of the Chitina River wind their way through the beautiful landscape that goes on forever. Savvy observers will have the opportunity to watch Dall Sheep, Mountain Goats, Bears and possibly Wolves. The rolling terrain offers opportunities for base camping as well as a multi-day exploration of the ridge.
