Fall, Foliage, and Flying

Fall foliage in the Wrangells

Fall foliage in the Wrangells

Hello fall and friends! Within the last week, autumn has decided to come our way. Even with the sun shining once again, our temperatures are topping off in the mid-50s (Fahrenheit), and our once bustling community is taking a pause to greet the new season.  Last-minute visitors to the always-stunning Wrangell-St. Elias National Park are receiving the extra perk of fall foliage. Aerial photos are doubly eye-catching with mountainsides ablaze with fireweed changing to burgundy hues, golden patches of aspen and willow, and the enduring green of evergreen spruce. Are you looking for a new desktop photo? Swing on by Wrangell Mountain Air and book a flight for that one picture that can describe the beauty that words cannot. And when you post it to your social media, don't forget to tag us... we may ask to feature it on our page, too!
